Wouldn't it be clever if Christians decorated their houses for Halloween with blood smeared on their door posts, and with a huge Angel of Death in their front yard? You know the kind: a twelve-foot-tall one like those skeletons that are the newest rage, with a robe and wings and a big grim reaper scythe in its hand.
Wouldn't that be a potent statement about those who are covered by Christ's blood? We don't need to fear all the horrors of death? The sting of death has lost its power. The fear of the demonic is replaced by the power of Almighty God's protection.
